⦁ Baring Private Equity Asia in connection with its sale of Interplex Holdings, a global manufacturing business, to funds managed by Blackstone, successfully helping the client achieve an exit and return of capital.

⦁ Acquisition financing for Bain Capital’s US$1.25 billion acquisition of MYOB, followed by its recapitalization through the issuance of A$150 million of ASX-listed subordinated retail notes and additional acquisition financing, as well as supporting the acquisition of Banklink and a pre-IPO corporate crossover and dividend recapitalization financing of A$690 million.

⦁ US$1.1 billion financing for Bain Capital in support of its leveraged buyout of Bellsystems24, a leading Japanese call center operator. Subsequently, we provided dividend recapitalization and secondary refinancing of term and revolving credit facilities to Bellsystems24, making this acquisition the second largest private equity leveraged buyout in Japan since 2008.

⦁ Provided a comprehensive global privacy compliance program to a global technology company to ensure that its product launches, cloud services, social media and gaming products comply with GDPR and data protection laws in various regions in Asia, and provided consulting support for telecommunications and payment regulatory compliance.

⦁ Provided data protection and cybersecurity policy and practice audit services to multiple clients to ensure compliance with the Singapore Data Protection Act and assisted clients in applying for the Singapore Data Protection Trust Mark.

⦁ Represented SPI Group in a dispute with the Russian Federation regarding the ownership of the well-known Stolichnaya vodka trademark and represented it and Brad Pitt in relation to the ownership and management of the famous wine producer Miraval Winery.

⦁ Defended the managing director of a Singapore-listed company in a case involving alleged violations of the Securities Industry Act involving market manipulation and issuing false and misleading statements to the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.

⦁ Represented multiple victims of telecommunications fraud to recover lost funds, with a total amount of more than US$5 million recovered.

⦁ Represented Vang Shuiming in the prosecution of the largest money laundering case in Singapore, the "S$3 billion money laundering case", which was conducted under the Corruption, Drug Trafficking and Other Serious Crimes (Confiscation of Benefits) Act 1992 and has important social and legal impact.
